政権としては基礎科学の研究者がよもや予算を削られたぐらいで国外に逃亡するわけがないと思っているということなんですね。

もちろんご同業の皆様なら常識かと思いますが、日本では日本人ですらラボを構えて独立するのは極めて優秀な人であっても至難の業だというのに、アメリカでは外国人たる日本人であってもラボを構えて独立することができる、という事実がどうも現政権には理解されていないようですね
